My six year old loves this game. Much better if your child can read. Very nice way of learning contextual math. Love it!

Ok so this app has turned my kids into little virtual entrepreneurs. The game is very engaging and fun, with a nice rhythm to it where you have moments for math, for strategy, for creativity, and for fun (delivery driving is awesome). The game inspired us to make cupcakes, and now my kids want to set up a bake sale! Very cool game, great graphics, motivating.

My kids had a blast playing Cupcake! The graphics are cool, the music is fun, and word problems and pricing strategy are cleverly embedded in the game. My kids really love the speedy delivery and moneymaking incentives too! Impressive new game!

This game has so many different parts to it - ordering, driving, weird word problems. Love the silly voices too.

The engaging game play is captivating right from beginning. I was excited to build my business as someone who has worked as an independent contractor for many years. Buying the ingredients, building the product, choosing a sales price, and working with customers covers all the aspects of a real business. This game is fun, and challenging at the same time...dont run out of ingredients because your customers wont be happy. The mathematical learning value comes in from a few angles: first, you must carefully price items based on how much the ingredients cost, and secondly the customers come to you with their story, like they have a mean boss who wants something, and a nice boss who wants something else or each of your kids with varying age should get a cupcake equal to their age. You need to do the math and calculate an executive summary for the order on the behalf of the customer so that your kitchen can quickly prepare the goods without having to understand the emotional customer. I dont have kids, but my nephews will love this game!

What a great game! This game makes practicing a variety of math skills engaging and fun. I love that its all about word problems and solving real-world math questions. No boring worksheets here! It also scales its difficulty to how youre doing to provide a balanced challenge. Great job!

Some of my 6th graders had a chance to try this game at an iPad conference, and have been anxiously waiting for it to be available in the App Store. I love the many upper grade topics covered (coordinate planes, fractions, etc) as well as the multiple opportunities for problem solving strategies. Another winner from Motion Math!

It covers a surprisingly large number of educational topics, and the graphics are super cute. A good place to start with if your kids havent tried any MM games yet (and if they have then expect another high quality game).

This game is engaging and innovative in its seamless incorporation of rigorous word problems. My students and I were immediately hooked.

My daughter is 7 and asks for guidance here and there but is entranced with this game. The ever-changing scenery and encounters are fun, she loves piling on way too much frosting and then has to figure out a name for the product and how to sell something she paid a lot of money to produce. I can see this being so educational for kids older than her and am happy that she is digging it at this age right now. It will be a great reference point for our budget talks with her as we delve further into those. Thanks, Motion Math!

The best app ever! Need to get! Im 9 and it is really fun and addicting and amazing the best part is the motorcycle that you get to ride to the spots that you have to drop of the cup cakes! Super fun to play! You should get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for another awesome title! This one knocked my socks off. These people at Motion Math really seem to get it, they make some of the best educational games Ive ever seen. Check out Questimate! also, my students love it and are always challenging me to play. Cant wait to see what they come up with next.

Got this game and didnt know what to think until I saw how educational and fun it is for kids. I think there should be levels to set it at if your child cant do multiplication though, and I wish there was more interaction with the people but I overall love this app.

This app does not work at all! I pad my last like 5 dollars and this doesnt work so I will sue them because u just freaking paid for this bad app! I played it on my I pad and I got it on my phone and I swear I will sue them!

My children and I love this app! The freedom to create your own product and set your price, the challenge to satisfy customers demands while maintaining a good profit, the savvy to check prices and choose the right vendor, and the challenge (at least for me!) of finding the right delivery location by following the coordinates, make this game amazingly addictive and great for exercising your math skills. Plus there are many more fun details that make it so enjoyable. It is a little more friendly than the pizza game and doesnt require as much multiplication (but we DO like that in the pizza game.) This was our first Motion Math purchase, but wont be our last. Thanks for a great product!

This is a great app but I wish there were levels because I did not get the grid .

I enjoy playing Cupcake! Day after day, I find myself lounging around, staring at a screen, playing your game. I think that it is outstanding that you are capable of making education actually FUN, instead of tiring, boring, or stressful. I highly recommend that you change up the math problems, (what the customers have to say) because some of them are repeated quite often, and you dont even have to read the whole question to know the answer. Thank you so much!

My 9 yr old loves this game, and while Im happy with it teaching her how to manage money, buy ingredients, make a profit, and basic addition skills, I bought the app thinking it would focus on money teaching. If youre looking for an app that teaches coin and bill counting and making change, dont spend the $5 on this one!
